The U.S. DOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has finally put their Crash Preventability Determination Program (CPDP) on-line. All crashes beginning AUGUST 1, 2019 that are eligible can be reviewed. FMCSA saw the value in crashes that are not the fault of the motor carrier and listened to comments made regarding the program. Organizations can now submit all eligible crashes to FMCSA and potentially lower its CSA scores (at least pertaining to crashes).
