COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years insurance experience
  • Driven, self-motivated, career seeking individuals
  • Good time management, ability to meet deadlines and manage workflow
  • Able to field a wide variety of client needs, research solutions, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Pennsylvania Property & Casualty licensed
  • Hold or obtaining an insurance designation such as CISR, CIC, and/or CPCU
  • Basic office computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…Knowledge of AMS 360 a plus!

Key Responsibilities: As an Account Executive with Allied Insurance Brokers, Inc., you will manage a book of business with your designated producer, provide superior customer service, increase retention, and grow the book of business by placing new business.

  • Marketing, negotiation, and placement of all renewals and new business
  • Claims management
  • Advise clients on coverage questions, insurance issues with contract, and the clients’ overall insurance programs
  • Provide prompt delivery of clients’ policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, binders, audits, etc.; in accordance with established Allied policy and procedures
  • Accounts receivable management and invoicing
  • Maintain good working relationships within office and department

Construction Safety Consultant

Job Description:

Allied Insurance Brokers is currently looking for a Construction Safety Consultant to service customers at a national level. The ideal candidate will be located within the greater Pittsburgh area. Expected travel of up to 25%. In this role you will provide risk assessment and risk improvement services for customers and business partners in Crane, Scaffolding, and Heavy Haul Industries. You will be a recognized expert with an enhanced level of expertise in respect to construction safety. Additional responsibilities will include:

· Provides advanced construction safety consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential and hazard/safety management programs.

· Provides advanced level training for customers, service design and coordination, mentoring and marketing.

· Will provide support to Ascinsure Underwriting Team. (Allied’s specialty risk underwriting and wholesale division)

· Assist clients with online pre-qualification compliance services.

· Develop and implement customer service strategies that save lives, reduce loss and improve customer operations.

· Develop and maintain positive customer and business partner relationships and collaborate with both customers and Business partners to develop appropriate service plans.

 

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area OR

· High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area AND

· Experience working in a team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance Experience

· Crane, Rigging, Heavy Haul or Scaffolding Experience

· Construction safety experience with an advanced level of knowledge of construction processes, safety, quality and associated risks and exposures

· Corporate Safety or Project Management experience

· Professional certifications: CSP, ARM, CHST

· Degree in Safety or Construction Management

PRODUCER- LARGE PROGRAM DIVISION

Commercial niche market property/casualty insurance agency seeking a self-motivated, successful salesperson in our large program division. Our large program division serves the property/casualty insurance needs of the equipment rental, crane, and scaffolding industries in all 50 states. The position out of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania services a territory of approximately 10 states with corporately expensed travel of approximately 6 – 7 days a month.
